We have an opening for a Cyber Software Engineer to join our GSMS team located in Redondo Beach, CA. Core responsibilities include supporting day to day integration activities; cyber assessments and coordination between the ADPE and HW groups; presenting to program leaders; and supporting cyber reviews, understanding DISA STIGs and their common implementations.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of relevant experience with Bachelors; 0 years with Masters; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Active SCI/CI Poly required at the time of application
- Experience with Cyber products for systems to include logging, vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection mechanisms, patching systems, anti-virus and related processes
- Experience with DISA STIGs as they apply to Cisco, RHEL and Windows
- Understanding of RMF process to include creation of ISSPs, POA&M, Requirements Matrix, etc.
- Knowledge of ground infrastructure and associated cyber requirements of ADPE and HW systems
- Active Security+ certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
- Knowledge of ACAS, NESSUS, SPLUNK, SCAP, POA&Ms, NIST, DIACAP, NISPOM, system audits, vulnerability scanning and RMF package development
- Experience with gathering Body of Evidence (BoE) from various tools or raw logs
- Experience working with the NIST 800 series and other NIST documentation
- Experience with creating and analyzing reports from various security tools
- Accreditation functions, including documentation, scanning, assessment, POAM management, through all steps of the RMF
- Capable of assessing the Program system security posture in accordance with customer requirements and directives
- Familiarity and understanding with researching and evaluating CVE/CVSS to identify, assess, and manage risk from threats and vulnerabilities
- Experience with Atlassian products to include Confluence and JIRA to track projects and tasks
