Security Engineer

Description

We’re looking for a talented, experienced, and highly motivated Security Engineer to join a strong team driving the development of one of the world’s leading online gaming brands. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining security controls across all layers of the organization’s infrastructure. The focus is on operational security—ensuring robust protection of the perimeter (both cloud and on-prem), network, endpoints, applications, and data.

What you will be doing:

• Collaborate with the Security Architecture team to implement perimeter security measures that prevent unauthorized access and protect against external threats.
• Manage firewall and web application firewall (WAF) policies in alignment with security architecture guidelines.
• Operate and maintain DDoS mitigation tools and other defenses against external attack vectors.
• Deploy security guardrails and configurations across cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Support the implementation of network segmentation and enforcement of internal security policies.
• Manage email security solutions to protect against phishing, spam, and malicious content.
• Implement and maintain mobile device security solutions to prevent unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Configure and monitor web proxies to ensure safe and compliant internet usage across the organization.
• Operate intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS) to monitor network traffic and respond to threats.
• Implement and manage endpoint protection tools to defend devices against malware and unauthorized access.
• Deploy data loss prevention (DLP) and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools in line with architectural standards.
• Continuously assess endpoint security posture and remediate identified vulnerabilities.

Requirements

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD environments such as GitLab, GitHub, or Azure DevOps; exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus.
• Experience with at least one major public cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Strong background in implementing security controls across the perimeter, network, endpoints, applications, and data layers.
• Proven experience in incident response and managing security operations.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
