Cyber Security Analyst

Your day to day:

As a Cyber Security Analyst, you will be in charge of conducting incident response activities for DDOS attack mitigation along with onboarding of assets and consulting best strategies to customers for threat mitigation. The role requires real time threat mitigation activities to be carried out.
You will collaborate with global team and markets and be involved in strategizing, optimizing and mitigating threats on the customers and organization infrastructure.
You will be analyzing all the alerts and will be involved in decision making and discussions to mitigate any relevant attacks targeted towards the applications and other infrastructure.

With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:

•    Understanding latest cyber-attacks and analyzing alerts to mitigate real attacks.
•    Respond to those attacks within the defined organization SLA.
•    Tweaking countermeasures and filters based on attack vectors and thus improving the mitigation efficacy.
•    Liaising with customers for troubleshooting cyber incidents and suggesting them the best solution for reducing the risk to their infra.
•    Consulting customers on recent attacks and suggesting them possibilities for mitigation.
•    Onboarding new customers on the platform based on the requirements.
•    Supporting presales teams with technical consultations for prospective customers.

•    Covering 24*7 shifts.
•    On calls when needed including weekends
•    Configuration lifecycle management of the security configuration.
•    Action changes maintaining the SLA
•    Contribute to problem management and major incident management when needed.
•    Packet analysis of traffic to analyze attack patterns and vectors.
•    Collaborate with internal teams to get the best of the knowledge and implement the best security practices.
•    Connecting with vendors for fixing platform issues and threat related consulting.
•    Finding potential for automation tasks in daily work
•    Creating and maintaining local work instructions and technical documentation for the teams.

With these skills you are a great candidate:

•    University degree
•    Good level of English language 
•    Cyber-attack analysis and mitigation.
•    Packet analysis skills to differentiate DDoS attack from real traffic.
•    Ability to understand and configure filters and countermeasures for mitigating volumetric and application-based attacks.
•    Knowledge of NIST incident response process and Mitre attack framework.
•    Minimum 2 plus years of experience in cyber security incident response and threat mitigation. DDoS attack mitigation knowledge would be an added advantage.
