The Impact You’ll Make in this Role


The person hired for the position of Client Security Engineer will join a high-performance team of accomplished individuals that are supporting the sales, development, and delivery objectives of the Solventum Health Information Systems portfolio of solutions. Initial responsibilities will include learning the solutions and key focus areas supporting requests for security information and RFP/Information requests on behalf of Solventum clients and prospects. Future advancement in the team will occur after mastery of additional skills. These additional responsibilities include presenting directly to clients and prospects in support of sales engagements, tradeshows, client events, and client/product management.

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a Solventum career.
 

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Complete Security Reviews provided by Solventum Clients in conjunction with Solventum teams, following Solventum policies and standards and meeting expectations for quality, and timeliness.

Provide timely and customer focused responses to technical portions of RFPs and customer Information requests (e.g. Technology application questioner).

Leverage technology, effective language to respond to client needs while remaining an effective steward of security information and intellectual property.

Works collaboratively with 3M teams including product, development, security, implementation and client care, to determine requirements, create documentation, and technical responses, solution effectiveness, project approaches, and risk framework details for 3M solutions.

Coordinates with other members of the Client Technology Team and subject matter experts in product, development, and security teams to curate and maintain a repository of question/answer pairs for use in process of fulfilling requests.

Identifying and communicating gaps in the product portfolio to the product development and security teams. Works to educate impacted teams and close identify gaps.

Supports timely completion of RFPs and other requests for information, process documentation, or materials including writing, and compiling commercial responses and coordination with subject matter experts and product teams.

Continuously develop personal sales skills, maintain up to date knowledge on technology, market trends, company products and solutions.

Develop and maintain effective client documentation for new and existing clients on technical aspects of consulting to be transitioned to implementation staff. Provide necessary explanations and transition to implementation teams as necessary for continuity.

Responsible for working independently and in team selling environment to pursue business opportunities and develop strong relationships with hospital technical teams. Provide continuous updates and education to client and internal teams.

Actively participates in relevant corporate programs/initiatives, complies with professional and quality standards complies with corporate policies and procedures, and acts in a manner consistent with Solventum’s values and ethical standards.

Build and maintain relationships with end users, integrators, consultants, value added resellers and technology partners.
 

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 4 years of (the same job-related experience)  

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from AND (8) years of (the same job-related experience)  

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:

  • Minimum of five (3) years of technical experience in the healthcare industry supporting clinical or revenue cycle solutions in a private, public, government or military environment
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with complex software solutions (licensing, deployment, management, support)
  • Ability to clearly understand and articulate technical and business topics to clients of various technical skills in written, oral, or presentation formats
  • Experience in Microsoft Windows 10, Office 365 (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Visio)

  • Remote

Travel: May include up to 60% Domestically, 10% Internationally

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $137,439 - $167,981, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
