Job Title: Senior Network Security Manager
Department: Infrastructure Operations
Reports To: Director, Infrastructure & Cloud Services
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Network Security Manager to lead the design, implementation, and governance of secure, resilient, and scalable network infrastructures across our global private cloud environments. This role is pivotal in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our global infrastructure while enabling business agility and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the global network security strategy for private/public cloud environments.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, DevOps, product and security teams to align network architecture with business and compliance objectives.
- Drive initiatives around Zero Trust, network segmentation, and secure multi-tenancy.
Architecture & Operations
- Design and maintain highly available, fault-tolerant network topologies across data centers and cloud regions.
- Lead implementation of Palo Alto firewalls and security services, including Panorama, GlobalProtect, and Threat Prevention.
- Apply best practices in network segmentation to isolate workloads, enforce least privilege, and reduce lateral movement risk.
- Oversee deployment of VPNs, load balancers, and SDN technologies.
Security & Compliance
- Implement and manage IAM, PAM, and encryption protocols across network layers.
- Ensure compliance with ISO27001, SOC 2, CMMC, and internal security policies.
- Partner with GRC and legal teams to support audits and risk assessments.
Team & Vendor Management
- Lead a global team of network security engineers and architects.
- Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and managed services.
- Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of continuous improvement and security-first thinking.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in network security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven expertise in private cloud networking (OpenStack Neutron, SDN, VXLAN, BGP, etc.).
- Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks technologies and security platforms.
- Strong knowledge of network segmentation strategies and Zero Trust architecture.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PCNSE, CCNP Security) are a plus.

- Experience in regulated environments (e.g., healthcare, finance, government).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment.
