WHAT WE CAN ACHIEVE TOGETHER:
Within Digital and Integrated Systems (D&IS) activities, the Digital Techno organization provides to all D&IS plateforms the core technology building blocks to support Signalling, Maintenance and Cyber business. Saint-Ouen site hosts as well the Development Center is in charge of designing main Alstom Urban CBTC Signalling Solutions : Urbalis 400, deployed on more than 100 projects around the world; Urbalis Fluence, the latest innovative Signalling System solution for Urban application and the on-premise virtualization solution deployed on all D&IS businesses.
As part of the program team, you are ensuring some of the following missions :
- Establish product/software specifications in collaboration with the System Application Architect, Design Authority, System Architect, and System Program Manager according to needs expressed by the Solution Director / Projects
- Design and implement the deployment tools, the operating systems hardening to comply with cyber security requirements
- Contribute to operating systems (Windows, Linux) factory CI/CD Pipeline Support/train user projects in their deployements
- Ensure periodic follow of suppliers of components of the shelf (COTS) and supervize obsolescence of hardware and softwares used in the program
- Contribute to Container as a Service platform definition
Organisational Reporting
AVP Network designer reports functionnally to the System Engineering Manager and hierarchically to the AVP department head.
Detailed Responsabilities and Tasks Mission and deliverables (some of)
- AVP Network architecture
- AVP Network equipment deployment guidelines and testing
- AVP Network tools design documentation/ implementation/testing
- Applies process, methods and tools as referenced by the program development processes
- Contribution to program management :
- Contribute to system development strategy and baselines
- Identifies Technical risk
- Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct
WHAT IS YOUR PROFILE?
To fill this position, we are looking for the following profile:
- Team player
- Knowledge in Networking, IT and Cyber domain (Linux OS, Kubernetes is a plus)
- Desired Knowledge (some of) in : scripting languages (bash, powershell), Python, Ansible, Windows OS, Linux OS, Active directory, infrastructure, virtualization)
- English communication skills

You will be based in our premises in Saint-Ouen or Villeurbanne
