As our Cybersecurity Analyst you are part of the Corbion Global IT team which manages our advanced worldwide IT infrastructure. In close collaboration with our outsourced Security Operations Center, IT department and the rest of the Security organization you play a key role in our line of defense when it comes to Event Handling and Incident Response.

Besides taking care of the daily security operations, you will assess, optimize and improve the services we currently have.

You report to the Corporate Information Security Officer. The position is based at our beautiful Global Corporate Headquarters with an IJ river view at walking distance from Amsterdam Central Station. You can partially work from home.

 Responsibilities

• We outsource many of the security operational functions: you will be one of the main contacts and coordinate their operations with the rest of Corbion
• You will assess possible anomalous and/or malicious activities that have been identified for you by our outsourced SOC
• When found, you’ll isolate, analyse and remove malware.
• You will perform forensic investigations
• You improve the quality of the service optimizing log sources that are monitored and correlated
• Coordinate with the SOC the management of user cases and detection rules
• Handling incidents, analyzing and create lessons learned
• Provide security guidance in IT projects and support our ethical hackers
• Create improvement plans with regard to the security architecture, both in IT as well as OT
• Advise the CISO 

Requirements

• Relevant ICT experience on a Bachelor(+) level , or equivalent knowledge gained.
• Knowledge and experience with  concepts such as MITRE ATT&CK, Lockheed Martin Killchain, CVE/CVSS, SOC and Incident Response procedures
• Thorough understanding of Windows, Active Directory, Cloud and Network forensics
• Proficient in commonly used scripting languages such as Powershell and/or Python is an advantage
• Familiar with the workings of common SIEM and EDR tooling
• GCFE, GCFA, GCIH and/or CISSP certificates or the willingness to acquire are beneficial
• Strong analytical capabilities and the courage to make impactful decisions
• You are curious, inquisitive and you enjoy finding out how things work
• Commitment to keep learning and stay three steps ahead of cybercriminals
• Collaborative team player, also when under stress
• Proficient in (professional) English
• Willing to travel internationally on occasion
• Periodical stand-by duties
