Senior Operational Risk Analyst

Job Summary

This role supports the execution of the Wealth Management Technology IT change and Incident Management process and execution of operational risk management (ORM) in line with Tech Currency strategy within WMT. The successful candidate will join our WM OPS Risk and Resilience team within the umbrella of WM IT Risk.

The successful candidate will have an advanced understanding of IT & Operational risk management practices, providing control and advisory services to application development, support teams and the Wealth Management Business. Services provided cover IT & operational risk analysis, risk awareness & advisory, risk & compliance exposure reporting and audit & regulatory response.

Job Description

What will you do?

• Drive IT Change management process such as approval, running Local CAB and represent WM in Enterprise CAB session.  
• Continually identify reporting improvements opportunities in the Change Management module within the organization ITSM tool (ServiceNow).
• Regularly review process and procedural document on change management process established by Enterprise Change Management body.
• Collaborate and Coach existing business towers personal on change management process to adhere by the current established local and Enterprise change management process.
• Execute identification, assessment and treatment recommendations for IT & Operational risks, with a focus on technology currency
• Execute reporting and monitoring aspects of risk management for technology currency risk
• Responsible for execution and completion of select security exemptions acceptance workflow process from start to finish
• Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.

What do you need to succeed? must-have:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role, working with IT and operational risk management processes, methods and tools
• Strong understanding of ITSM and ITIL Change Management process/practices
• Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high-quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills.
• Comfortable working with Excel and Power Point

Nice to have

• CRISC, CISSP or CISA certifications
• Knowledge of GRC tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Archer)
• Change Management or ITSM Certification
• Knowledge of Wealth Management/Financial Services industry
