Penetration tester (Visma Software International AS)

Do you want to put your Kali machine into theactual work rather than pwning HTB boxes? Does chaining vulnerabilities to achieve highest impact sound interesting? By joining our Penetration testing team you’ll have an opportunity to solve complex problem cases and perform pentests daily on a wide range of applications and network services.

What's it all about?

• Perform penetration tests on infrastructure, web and mobile applications.

• Simulate attack scenarios to demonstrate potential security risks across multiple projects.

• Present testing results to the service development teams and data owners.

• Write detailed vulnerability reports and describe mitigation scenarios.

What do we expect from you?

• Solid understanding of security fundamentals and familiarity with common web vulnerabilities, such as those outlined in the OWASP Top 10.

• Understanding of web and network protocols and common attacker techniques.

• Basic knowledge of penetration testing methodology and tools such as Burp, nmap, nuclei etc.

• A strong desire to continuously learn and grow within the cybersecurity field.

• Working knowledge with Windows and UNIX based operating systems.

• OSCP or other industry certification is desired but not required.

• Having proficiency in any scripting language would be a valuable asset.
