Cyber Queue Manager

Leidos Digital Modernization sector has a career opportunity for a Cyber Queue Manager to support the Air Force National Capital Region (AFNCR) IT Services program. 

The AFNCR IT Services program provides support services for information systems for Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Force District of Washington (AFDW), Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), Joint Chiefs of Staff, and other Air Force activities within the AFNCR, missions to include the Pentagon, Joint Base Andrews (JBA), Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling (JBAB), and other locations, leased spaces, and alternate sites. The major support areas required are IT Operations and Maintenance; Plans, Projects, and Engineering (PP&E); and National Military Command Center (NMCC). The senior leaders and national defense missions that are supported require that the AFNCR operations never fail, resulting in a fast-paced, challenging, but also rewarding environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and triage cybersecurity service requests and incident tickets in platforms such as BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, and Tenable SecurityCenter.

• Track and route tickets for vulnerability findings, system hardening, POA&M remediation, cyber events, and incident escalations.

• Coordinate task assignment across cybersecurity teams including Threat Hunting, CND, Vulnerability Management, and A&A.

• Prioritize requests and enforce SLA timelines in alignment with mission needs and AFMAN 17-130 guidelines.

• Serve as a central communication hub between cybersecurity staff, IT teams, mission partners, and leadership.

• Compile and present weekly reports on ticket metrics, bottlenecks, repeat issues, and compliance trends.

• Collaborate on CCRI (CORA) preparation activities and assist with documentation of STIG compliance and POA&M closure.

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and less than 2 years prior relevant experience.

• Active DoD Secret clearance required (TS/SCI preferred).

• ITIL v4 Foundation or CompTIA Security+ (or must obtain within 90 days).

• 2+ years of experience in a help desk, service desk, or IT operations environment.

• Interest in transitioning into cybersecurity operations, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Familiarity with service ticketing platforms (ServiceNow, Remedy) and basic understanding of cybersecurity principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting DoD or Air Force IT environments.

• Exposure to cybersecurity platforms such as Tenable/ACAS, Splunk, or eMASS.

• Familiarity with RMF, NIST 800-53, or STIG frameworks.

• Experience assisting with vulnerability tracking, POA&M management, or incident coordination.

• Understanding of AF cybersecurity policy (e.g., AFMAN 17-130).

Pay Range:

Pay Range $44,200.00 - $79,900.00
