In this exiting field we are looking for a Senior Database Security Specialist - Db2 for z/OS * who will join our mainframe infrastructure team to collaborate with product developers & clients to understand COBOL-Db2 security mapping & recommend security mapping for Java-Db2 environments and enhance in-house Db2 for z/OS test infrastructure.

Essential Skills

• Expertise in Db2 for z/OS security pertaining to COBOL-Db2 applications & Java-Db2 applications including local and remote data serving

• Expertise in application database administration including design, planning & implementation of various aspects of database management (physical structure, logical design, SQL programming & performance)

• Solid experience in System database administration, system parameters and configurations

• Experienced in working with COBOL-Db2 and Java-Db2 mission critical applications in large customer environments under high security standards

• Open to collaborate and support clients, product developers & testers and product service & support staff

• Ability to understand customer’s COBOL-Db2 application environments and recommend system & security configurations for an equivalent Java-Db2 application environments

• Ability to create Db2 database instances to simulate various Db2 security settings, typically present in large enterprises running COBOL-Db2 applications under high security standards

• Recommend tailored trusted context creations from “only reads Db2” over “read-write Db2” up to “creates objects in Db2”

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from reputed institutions, but master’s degree is preferred

• 15+ years of system programming experience in the above-mentioned topics

• Ability to collaborative and maintain good interpersonal relationships

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills with capability to multi-task

• Good creativity & innovation with strong quality focus

• Show commitment to the organization & its goals

• Adaptive & self-motivated to learn new skills

• Very good communication skills in English
