Azure Cloud Engineer, Mid

Key Role:

Help identify, assess, prioritize, and coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities across enterprise systems. Bring deep technical expertise, advanced understanding of threat and vulnerability management, and the ability to work collaboratively with IT and cyber teams to reduce cyber risk. Lead the development, integration, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of clients' Azure cloud environment. Provide ongoing and dedicated technical and administrative support for cloud systems under development. Engineer and manage Windows-based, Linux-based, and Azure Cloud IaaS environments. Develop and configure integration APIs to support the integration of cybersecurity solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in IT, Cloud, engineering, or cybersecurity integration

• 5+ years of experience with Azure Cloud architecture, design, and implementation

• Knowledge of the administration of information systems

• Ability to synthesize technical details into actionable risk insights and communicate with stakeholders

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, or Information Technology

• Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Security Engineer Certification

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with NIST 800-53 and other federal cybersecurity frameworks

• Public Trust

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
