Position Details
Business Overview
Establishment and operation of a system for risk management, compliance, and adherence to information security rules in the advertising business division.

Business Details
Education & Training:
- Planning and creation of educational content (e-learning, training materials, etc.) related to risk management, compliance, and information security.
- Creation of lists of e-learning participants, checking participation status, and promoting participation.

Risk Management:
- Identifying risks in the advertising business and formulating and implementing risk management plans.
- Information management in the event of an incident, formulation and implementation of recurrence prevention measures, and report creation.
- Crisis management for disasters and other emergencies.
- Advertising-related work checks for JICDAQ certification (brand safety and ad fraud countermeasures) renewal.

Compliance:
- Updating and managing the list of compliance business personnel.
- Analysis, formulation, and operation of compliance programs (issues and countermeasures).

Information Security:
- Information security-related interviews, monitoring of ISMS compliance status, promotion of compliance, and report creation.

Information Dissemination:
- Management and updating of the in-house portal site related to risk management, compliance, and information security.
- Report creation and document preparation related to the above tasks.

Stakeholders
Main Parties Involved: Business divisions such as the advertising business sales department, advertising operations department, and media management department.
Collaboration Partners: Risk management, compliance, and security departments in the headquarters organization.
Reporting Destination: Senior management of the company.

Business Procedures
We aim to build a ""Education → Monitoring → Evaluation → Improvement → Reporting & Communication"" cycle and continuously strengthen the risk management system.
Example: In the case of risk management related to ISMS:
1. Create and provide educational content on ISMS.
2. Monitor ISMS compliance status and collect information.
3. Analyze the collected information and formulate improvement measures.
4. Implement improvement measures and evaluate their effectiveness.
5. Summarize the results in a report and report to relevant parties.
6. Continuously implement the above cycle.

Scope of Responsibility
After joining the company, you will acquire the basic skills necessary for the job, such as monitoring, information organization, and preparation of materials based on analytical formats, under the direction of the department manager.
In the future, you will be entrusted with more specialized tasks such as planning and creating educational content and preparing reports for senior management.
Ultimately, we expect you to grow into a professional who can autonomously build and promote the cycle from education to reporting and communication in specific themes such as compliance.

English Usage Situations
Since there is collaboration with global departments, it may be necessary to create Japanese and English versions of educational content.

- A small and elite team specializing in risk, compliance, and security.
- Senior Manager: 1
- Manager: 1 (concurrently serving in the Advertising Review Group)
- Assistant Manager: 1 (concurrently serving in the Advertising Review Group)
- Member: 1

Characteristics:
- Due to the small size of the team, each member has a high degree of autonomy and can be involved in a wide range of tasks.
- With members concurrently serving in the Advertising Review Group, the team can approach its work from the perspectives of both risk management and advertising review.


All members of our team are mid-career hires, bringing their unique expertise to contribute to our success.

- Senior Manager: With 20 years of experience at Rakuten Group, background includes user support, media operations, data governance, compliance, and advertising review.  Aim to leverage that experience, and in a good way, discard it to build a new risk and compliance management system.
- Manager: As an advertising review expert, he possess deep knowledge and extensive experience in advertising expression. He contribute to improving the quality of advertising from a risk management perspective.
- Assistant Manager: With a background as a former government official, he contribute to strengthening the risk management system by leveraging their high awareness of legal compliance and logical thinking skills.

By sharing our individual expertise and experience and cooperating with each other, we aim to achieve more sophisticated risk management.

Mandatory Qualifications:
Experience:
Candidates must possess at least 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Risk Management
- Compliance
- Information Security
- Internal Audit
Other related fields

Specific Skills:
Candidates should possess one or more of the following skills:
- Risk Assessment
- Internal Controls
- Information Security Measures
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
