As a Senior Manager, IT Cyber Security, the incumbent will lead and collaborate with key NCS IT and Cybersecurity stakeholders to plan, initiate, oversee, and successfully deliver projects aimed at enhancing NCS security capabilities and overall security posture.
What will you do?
Project Management & Security Compliance
- Lead security-focused projects, ensuring they align with NCS security objectives while effectively balancing scope, time, and cost constraints to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Ensure strict adherence to security-related frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
Proactive Project Execution & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Establish a structured project framework and coordinate with relevant NCS IT, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Security Operations, and external vendors to ensure clear role definitions and responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain detailed action plans, fostering close collaboration among internal teams and external vendors to drive successful project execution.
- Actively engage with stakeholders, proactively identify and mitigate project risks, and provide timely updates on progress and challenges.
Post-Implementation Review (PIR)
- Conduct thorough PIR assessments to evaluate project success, effectiveness of implemented processes, and overall alignment with security objectives.
- Identify key learnings and best practices to improve future project implementations and maximize the long-term benefits of security initiatives.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the contributions of outsourced service providers/vendors to ensure impactful and value-driven project outcomes.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology
- At least 10 years of relevant industry experience
- Working experience of driving cyber security project management and initiatives
- Information and cyber security certifications eg. CISSP, CISM etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cyber security frameworks and best practices
