Computershare has an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-time Global Security Testing Analyst to join our Global Information Security team.

There are a few things that make this opportunity truly fantastic:

  • You’ll be a part of an exciting global team of information security professionals that deliver in-depth technical security services for our most critical applications and infrastructure
  • Work with a supportive leader who encourages creativity and innovation in a team where new ideas and improvements are always welcome
  • We offer continuous learning and education opportunities and put emphasis on continued improvement, growth, and career progression

A role you will love

As one of our Global Security Testing Analysts, you will act as the central point of contact for the team; liaising with business and technical stakeholders, planning, coordinating, and preparing tests to be handed over to Security Testing Consultants.

You will support the Global Security Testing Manager in the delivery of both the annual and ad-hoc testing schedules, ensuring tests run to time, budget and scoping standards keeping Computershare within regulatory requirements.

This is exciting role in a global function for someone who enjoys taking the lead, working closely with a wide variety of teams, including security operations, development, and infrastructure teams, as well as someone who enjoys being accountable for process optimization and improvement initiatives.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Being accountable for the annual security testing programme ensuring tests are scoped correctly, timelines are correct and resource is made available, ensuring that the relevant stakeholders are also consulted and informed
  • Facilitating group calls to drive efforts in a unified direction.
  • Being accountable for process improvement initiatives; optimising the teams processes and ensuring simplicity, consistency and transparency from start to finish
  • Being responsible for the co-ordination of specific tests including penetration testing, red teaming and security audits, working closely with stakeholders throughout the business to gather necessary scoping information and performing required prerequisite activities
  • Being responsible for the creation and upkeep of security testing policies, procedures and standards to ensure that security testing activities are conducted consistently and effectively. Ensure these are aligned with industry best practices
  • Communicating tailored security testing results to the wider business including CISO’s, senior management, development teams, and infrastructure teams. Providing high quality, timely guidance on overall security posture
  • Collaborating with Vulnerability Remediation Teams and the wider business to ensure a smooth hand over of findings.

What will you bring to the role?

You are someone with a strong ability to influence others at a senior level paired with considerable experience in modifying approach and style to obtain co-operation, commitment and resolve conflict. You are also consistently proactive with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks/schedules and work well under pressure with limited supervision both individually and driving other team members. Additionally, you are confident to gleam a plan from many disparate tasks, co-ordinate those efforts to a common goal, and change process to improve for next time.

You’ll also bring:

  • Considerable experience working within a large-scale IT testing environment
  • Strong project management skills with demonstratable experience in leading multiple projects simultaneously
  • Considerable experience engaging and influencing internal stakeholders in all areas of technical and non-technical information security
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the proven ability to effectively articulate complex technical terms to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to work flexibly across multiple time zones including the UK, North America, and Australia attending conference calls and occasionally travelling to other local and international Computershare locations
