Job Description SummaryThe Privileged Access Management (PAM) team within Identity Security works to ensure any passwords or secrets within GE HealthCare are properly secured, rotated frequently, and only accessible to those authorized. The PAM Team handles discovery, management, access control, and reporting/auditing of such secrets, driving remediation of accounts, providing clear documentation and end-to-end support for implementation to enterprise systems and application teams.

Job Description

GE Digital’s Cybersecurity team are looking for a talented intern to join our Identity (PAM) team!  As part of this role you will be responsible for working on several areas related to identity management such as provisioning/de-provisioning, access requests, group membership changes, entitlement management and reporting, auditing, monitoring, and remediation.  You will also have the opportunity to work with other teams across the business including development, DevOps, infrastructure, security operations, compliance, and more.  
 

Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our cybersecurity team. The intern will assist in managing and securing privileged access using CyberArk solutions. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity and privileged access management.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and configuration of CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.

  • Monitor and manage privileged accounts and credentials.

  • Support regular audits and compliance checks to ensure security standards are met.

  • Support the cybersecurity team in identifying and mitigating risks related to privileged access.

  • Document processes and procedures related to PAM.

  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge of CyberArk and PAM best practices.

  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to privileged access.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.

  • Familiarity with CyberArk or other PAM solutions is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
