Job Summary:
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer Digital Security at a junior to mid-level to support our technical cybersecurity team in presales and implementation of advanced data protection solutions. This role focuses on technical delivery and customer support across a range of technologies including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Data Classification, Encryption, Cloud Security Posture, and Endpoint Protection without involvement in governance or compliance workstreams.
The ideal candidate will have a foundational technical background in cybersecurity, a passion for protecting data assets, and a willingness to engage in both customer-facing and hands-on engineering work.
Key Responsibilities:
Presales Responsibilities:
Participate in technical discovery sessions with customers to gather cybersecurity and data protection requirements.
Assist in delivering product demonstrations, PoCs, and technical walkthroughs.
Support solution architects and sales engineers in creating SoWs, technical proposals, and solution designs.
Build and maintain demo environments for key cybersecurity tools (e.g., DLP, encryption, endpoint protection).
Implementation Responsibilities:
Deploy, configure, and integrate cybersecurity tools related to data protection and privacy.
Implement and test DLP policies, data classification rules, and encryption technologies across endpoints, networks, and cloud platforms.
Integrate solutions with customer infrastructure, including Active Directory, SIEM, and endpoint systems.
Troubleshoot technical issues during deployment and provide documentation, handover, and basic user training.
Technical Focus Areas:
Data Loss Prevention (DLP): Forcepoint, Symantec, Microsoft Purview, etc.
Data Classification: Boldon James, Titus, Microsoft AIP, etc.
Database Activity Monitoring: Imperva , IBM Gaurdium
Encryption: Data Encryption, Endpoint encryption, email encryption, cloud encryption gateways.
CASB / Cloud Security Tools: Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps, Netskope, etc.
Endpoint Security: EDR tools with data protection capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience:
14 years in a cybersecurity role, preferably involving presales or implementation of technical solutions.
Hands-on exposure to DLP, classification, or encryption tools is highly desirable.
Experience in technical support, systems engineering, or endpoint/network security implementation is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Basic scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python) is a plus.
Understanding of how data flows through endpoints, servers, and cloud environments.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture (Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Windows Server).
Soft Skills:
Clear verbal and written communication for customer-facing engagements.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, and engineering.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and documentation quality.
Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory):
Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals
CompTIA Security+
Vendor-specific training (Forcepoint, Microsoft Purview, Symantec, etc.)
