About the job:

Based in Brussels, Belgium you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our IT services to support NATO’s Digital Endeavour. You will join CSU Brussels, which is the leading provider of Communications and Information System (CIS) products and services to locally based NATO entities such as the NATO Headquarters and International and Military Staff. CSU Brussels enables end-to-end CIS services and manages critical technological capabilities during peacetime, crisis and war.

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Team Lead - Network Security who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:

•    Acts as the Team Lead of the Cyber Security Gateway team;
•    Support the management and development of staff members;
•    Operates and manages services for a range of cyber security systems including: Data Diodes, Firewalls, FileGuards, EmailGuards (including Email DLP), Web Proxies, Network DLP and VPN;
•    Provide cyber security advice and analyze Level 1, Level 2 support requirements;
•    Execute security incident management process and analyze improvement opportunities;
•    Support vulnerability assessments and Security Testing and Verification (ST&V) plans.

About you:

The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:

•    A Bachelor’s degree at a nationally recognized/certified university in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience; Or, a secondary educational qualification with 6 years post-related experience. 
•    Previous experience leading a small team of cyber security professionals;
•    Strong knowledge and experience of Gateway Security Devices including firewall installation and management;
•    Strong network knowledge and ability to create documentation including diagrams and processes;
•    Good knowledge in the administration and concepts of full packet capture, mail and web guards, data diodes, proxies or other network security devices;
•    Experience and sound knowledge of Computer and Networks Security principles and procedures;
•    Comprehensive knowledge of the principles of computer and communication security, LAN/WAN networking including protocol network architecture, and the vulnerabilities of modern operating systems and applications;
•    Proven capability of converting evolving operational requirements into Information Systems requirements;
•    Good Communication skills, both verbal and written.
•    Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
