Job Description:

Our work depends on Cyber Security Analyst Advisor joining our team to help supply mission command support for U.S. Army Europe as well as AFRICOM and Ukrainian Support.

HOW A CYBER SECURITY ANALYST ADVISOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Support the government in providing technical assistance in support of the government inspections and Staff Assisted Visits (SAVs).

  • Provide feedback and suggestions regarding cybersecurity best business practices to enable secure operations for Air and Missile Defense customer.

  • Identify mediations during SAV inspections and other inspections. Properly track plans of action and milestones (POAM) to iterate any short falls or issues.

  • Assist the customer with Records Management program improvements and maintain program with updated guidance.

  • Respond to Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.

  • Investigates, analyzes, and responds to cyber incidents within a network environment or enclave

  • Uses data collected from a variety of cyber defense tools (e.g., ACAS, MS Defender) to analyze events that occur within their environments for the purposes of mitigating threats

  • Interprets, analyzes, and reports all events and anomalies in accordance with computer network directives, including initiating, responding, and reporting discovered events

  • Ensures that cybersecurity plans, controls, processes, standards, policies, and procedures are aligned with cybersecurity standards

  • Identifies security risks and exposures, determines the causes of security violations and suggests procedures to halt future incidents and improve security

  • Develops techniques and procedures for conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and compliance audits, and the investigation and resolution of security incidents such as intrusion, frauds, attacks or leaks

  • Oversees the archiving and processing of official records, and sustain the organization’s records management program. This will include drafting fragmentary orders to aid in the coordination and collaboration of information assurance and records management-related activities and meeting mandated requirements.

  • May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals

  • May serve as a team or task lead


WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education: Bachelors Degree or additional years of experience can be substituted for Degree Requirement

  • Required Experience: 5+ years of related experience

  • Required Technical Skills: RMF Knowledge, COOP/Incident Response knowledge. Experience with Army Records Management and FOIA is required.

  • Security Clearance Level: Top Secret

  • Required Skills and Abilities: Technical writing, Task Order and SOP development; Communication (written and verbal), Problem Solving,

  • Certifications: CISSP or CASP

  • Location: Sembach Germany

  • US Citizenship Required

  • Must be able to pass German TESA Requirements

The likely salary range for this position is $102,000 - $138,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Total compensation for international positions varies by tax, social security, and immigration statuses, as well as location. Generally, an international assignment may include allowances, premium uplifts, and/or relocation or transportation benefits, above base salary range noted.
