Alpha Omega is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Contingency Planning Analyst to join our team and lead the design, implementation, and management of advanced security measures to protect our organization’s networks and critical information. This role requires deep expertise in cybersecurity practices, tools, and protocols to ensure robust protection of digital assets and vital electronic infrastructure. As an SME, you will serve as a key advisor, addressing complex security challenges, mentoring team members, and responding to high-level security breaches and threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level technical knowledge and analysis for contingency planning and business continuity initiatives.
- Prepare, manage, and maintain contingency planning and disaster recovery documentation across complex enterprise systems.
- Conduct high-level systems analysis, integration, and implementation planning in support of continuity of operations.
- Develop and document strategies that align with organizational recovery objectives, cybersecurity policy, and compliance frameworks.
- Support the development and enhancement of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards to include contingency and recovery components.
- Provide technical guidance and analytical support to teams on risk mitigation, resilience architecture, and system continuity improvements.
- Participate in or lead tabletop exercises and readiness assessments to validate recovery plans and system dependencies.
Required Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
Experience/Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles, with a proven track record of leading security initiatives and incident response efforts.
- Strong knowledge of systems design, integration, and enterprise architecture.
- Familiarity with NIST SP 800-34, ISO 22301, or other continuity planning standards.
- Proven experience writing and maintaining complex documentation and recovery procedures.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of threat intelligence, risk management, penetration testing, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address complex challenges. Strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical teams.
Certification(s):
- Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+), or equivalent certifications.
Salary and Benefit Information:
The likely salary range for this position is $109,421- $148,700. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position and could fall outside of this range.
