ASRC Federal is seeking a qualified Project Manager to support a DoDEA client headquartered in Alexandria, VA, onsite is required but some telework possible upon government authorization.
Position Summary:
The Project Manager will oversee the execution of cybersecurity and information technology initiatives in support of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA). Project Manager will support the five key objectives listed in the PWS (e.g., RMF A&A Support, Cybersecurity Engineering, etc.) This individual will serve as the primary liaison between DoDEA leadership and the contractor team, ensuring that all tasks are delivered on time, within scope, and in compliance with DoD standards. The Project Manager will coordinate task execution, manage project resources, resolve issues, and support strategic planning for IT and cybersecurity programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of all project phases related to IT and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Develop and maintain the Program Management Plan (PMP), including project schedules, staffing plans, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and conduct regular status meetings and deliver weekly and monthly reports to the Government Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR).
• Ensure compliance with contract deliverables, performance objectives, and quality standards as outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
• Serve as the primary point of contact for communication with DoDEA leadership and other stakeholders.
• Manage contract staff, including scheduling, resource allocation, and performance oversight.
• Support program review briefings, including analysis of progress toward milestones, issues, risks, and service-level agreement compliance.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure secure handling of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and sensitive information.
• Ensure that key personnel meet all required certifications and maintain current clearance levels.
Required Qualifications:
• BS/BA required and 8 -10 years of project management experience in a DoD or similarly complex environment or equivalent.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity programs, RMF processes, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent projects.
• This position requires an active Secret Clearance.
Clearance Requirement:
Active SECRET security clearance required. Must be U.S. Citizen and meet DoD ADP Level II requirements.
