Job Title: Identity and Access Management Governance Analyst

Department: IT

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Overview:

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Analyst will possess in-depth knowledge and experience in IAM, using best practices and knowledge of internal and external business issues to improve our products and services. This role requires solving complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions and working independently with minimal guidance. The IAM Analyst will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead projects with limited risks and resource requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply in-depth IAM knowledge to improve and enhance products and services.
  • Configure and utilize tools and technologies to drive continuous IAM improvement with external teams.
  • Lead projects in their entirety to remediate IAM findings discovered from tools, audits, and/or assessments.
  • Solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • Maintain awareness of best practices and how IAM integrates with other areas of the business.
  • Create and work with external teams to implement IAM security controls using conceptual and practical expertise.
  • Collaborate on projects with cybersecurity operations, data privacy, cyber risk, and cybersecurity engineering to improve the overall IAM program.
  • Exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information to solve complex problems.

Education and Experience:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3 - 5 years of Information Security or relevant IT experience required
  • Preferred DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification in IAT Level I, IAM Level I, or higher
  • Experience with IAM tools and technologies (SailPoint, Saviynt, Entra ID, Okta, etc.).
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with information security regulatory frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, HIPAA, GDPR) and how they relate to IAM.
  • Quantitative risk assessment skills.
  • Knowledge of Agile SAFe.

Preferred Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience with MITRE ATT&CK and Cyber Kill Chain, including Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs)
  • Development skills including scripting (e.g., Python, shell scripting)
  • Knowledge of STIX/TAXII, SIGMA, DISA STIGs
  • Experience with Security Threat Modeling

Physical Requirements (if applicable):

Up to 10% Global travel possible

NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least three (3) days per week. #LI-Hybrid
