Our client is a major Belgian organization active in the human resources services, social protection, and legal support sector. As a central actor in supporting both individuals and employers, this client plays a key role in the Belgian socio-economic landscape. The position will integrate the Security Operations (SecOps) team and contribute directly to the company’s cybersecurity resilience and governance strategy.

Missions

• Daily follow-up and response to security incidents, including those raised by an external SOC team

• Management and follow-up of vulnerability-related incidents

• Security support for internal teams, including:

  • Phishing email assessments

  • Security evaluations for new software deployments

• Handling of administrative tasks related to cybersecurity

• Weekly and monthly reviews of antivirus, firewall, and other technical reports

• Support during ISAE audits (providing documentation, collecting evidence, etc.)

• Contribution to overall security governance within the organization

Requirements

• First professional experience in IT Security

• A generalist profile with a solid understanding of security operations (not a pure SOC analyst role)

• Able to work independently and be immediately operational (no internal training provided)

• Fluency in Dutch and/or English (French only is not sufficient)

• Resident of the Ghent region (to avoid long commuting times)

• Available to be on-site 1–2 days per week

• Security certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CISSP, etc.) are a nice-to-have
