We’re looking for a systems administrator who specializes in working within classified environments supporting agencies with a solid background in windows operating systems to help us build and deploy technical platforms and cybersecurity solutions for the Defense and Intelligence communities.
As a systems administrator on our project, you’ll install, maintain, audit, and support a secure MS Windows network environment. You'll analyze and test new software and software version upgrades in test environments before deploying to production. You'll administer ACAS scans and provide results or reports during weekly vulnerability meetings and verify STIG compliance using automated tools to ensure benchmarks are met and manage virtual workstations and servers using VMWare. You’ll provide your customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Your technical expertise will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network. You’ll help your team better understand the network by turning metrics into information and explaining their meaning. We focus on growing as a team, so you’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the teamwork through challenges and develop new methodologies. As a technical leader, you’ll identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs. You Have:
10+ years of experience as a systems administrator, network engineer, or cybersecurity engineer
Experience with VMware hypervisor environment, and managing virtual machines
Experience with Service Ticketing systems
Experience with Windows Operating systems, Windows Server and provision applications
Experience with tools such as Dell WYSE Management System, Active Directory, SCCM, Hyperflex, or SolarWinds
Knowledge of VMware hypervisor environment and provisioning software
Ability to author, interpret and analyze technical documentation
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Security+ Certification
Nice If You Have:
Experience with tools such as LogRhythm, JIRA
Knowledge of government wide system design
Ability to work with Security Technical Implementation Guides and group policies
Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Assurance, or Cyber
CASP, CISSP, or CCNA certifications
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
