Responsibilities

Empower AI: As a DoDIN-A Operations Compliance Information Security Specialist, you will provide services in support of the Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) on the Army Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN-A) Cybersecurity and Network Operations Mission Support (ADCNOMS) contract. You will collaborate with Army organizations to ensure cybersecurity enforcement actions are taken based on vulnerabilities, impact, threat immediacy, organization mission requirements, and the organization's ability to mitigate vulnerability and impacts to their networks and information systems in a timely manner. You will coordinate with organizations to ensure they are informed of suspense timelines through briefings or other communications, gather compliance information from organizations, and provide reports to the Cyber OPS and Endpoint Security teams for dissemination. The DoDIN-A Operations Compliance mission is a 16 hour a day mission, covering 0600 to 2200 daily.

 

Highlights of Responsibilities:

  • Track suspenses and requirements of CTO, JFHQ-DoDIN Orders for Service Components (e.g. Army, Air Force), ARCYBER Defensive Cyber Named Operations, NETCOM DoDIN Named Operations, HQDA DoDIN Executive Orders (EXORDs), and other compliance efforts.
  • Collect, analyze, and coordinate requirements and security artifacts and POA&Ms from global Army organizations, both CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Coordinate internally with the NETCOM Cyber Tasking Cell and End Point Security Cell to synchronize status of compliance based on orders and named operations.
  • Update documentation, briefings, and online resources on the status of assigned current DoDIN operations to include the presentation of security artifacts presented by Army organizations.
  • Participate in the planning of named operations and security functions as required.
  • Leverage file sharing, email, cloud resources, and NETCOM Portal assets to provide automated Compliance

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Top Secret Security Clearance based on a Tier 5 (T5) Investigation with ICD 704 (SCI) eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 10 – 15 years of experience
  • Basic knowledge in DoD and Army Cybersecurity Policy and Governance
  • Basic knowledge in The Army Orders Process
  • Basic knowledge in Network and Systems Security and Compliance

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF 631) Information Systems Security Developer Advanced qualified (FITSP-D or GCSA or CISSP-ISSEP) or equivalent certification
  • ITIL v4 Foundations certification

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting for long periods

  • Ambulate between several buildings
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
  • Travel by land or air transportation 10% or less
