Job Summary 

The Oracle Fusion Security Specialist is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing enterprise systems, including infrastructure, applications, and/or system-level security. This role handles break-fix service incidents, service restoration issues, and access-related configurations across a wide range of technology services. The Senior Systems Administrator may specialize in areas such as infrastructure support or application security, including the configuration and administration of application access controls. This position requires availability 24/7, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule and scheduled maintenance windows.

Essential Functions

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Oracle Fusion Cloud Security & User Maintenance
  • In-depth Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Security Architecture - Security Console, Roles,
  • Privileges, Hierarchy, Data Security Policies, etc.
  • Build custom roles by tailoring Oracle seeded roles & privileges as per the business requirements
  • Create & Enhance Oracle Fusion HCM Data Roles
  • Create & Enhance Oracle Fusion SCM, ERP (Finance) & HCM Job, Duty & Abstract Roles
  • Manage Users Access & Provision Roles and Data Access based on organization-defined data security
  • policies and user role matrix
  • Experience with HDL Loading of User Access for large-scale user administration exercises
  • Manage Oracle SRs (Service Requests) to coordinate and complete any system, roles, data & user
  • administration tasks
  • Excellent technical problem-solving skills with ability to work independently and in team-oriented
  • manner
  • Audit end user accounts, permissions and access rights as part of User Access Reviews
  • Support the administration & maintenance of Oracle Risk Management (RMC)
  • Align Segregation of Duties and security profiles in accordance with SOX requirements
  • Liaise with Internal & External Auditors to meet SOX & ITGC compliance
  • Support the Oracle Fusion Cloud SKUs' license usage and optimize through roles baselining
  • Proposes and implements system enhancements, including software and hardware updates, to improve performance and security.
  • Maintains documentation related to system configurations, support procedures, and access controls.
  • Supports and maintains a wide array of technology including infrastructure, enterprise applications, and security components.
  • Diagnoses and resolves complex configuration and troubleshooting issues within a multi-vendor environment.
  • Repairs and recovers from hardware or software failures and coordinates with stakeholders during incidents.
  • Configures, tests, and manages user access and security roles in enterprise systems, including ERP and HCM applications.
  • Participates in workshops to define and document role-based access design using least-privilege and segregation of duties (SoD) principles.
  • Oversees security regression testing and evaluates the impact of application patches and updates.
  • Collaborates with Cybersecurity and Identity Access Management (IAM) teams to support automated access provisioning and auditing.
  • Supports access reviews, risk mitigation activities, and compliance audits.
  • Provides a high level of technical and security-related support within assigned discipline.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or GED required
  • 4-6 years System Administration experience required
  • 4-6 years Supporting a mid to large size enterprise environment required
  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • H.S. Diploma or GED required
  • 3+ years of experience in Oracle ERP Cloud Administration
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
  • 4-6 years of systems administration experience required
  • 4-6 years supporting a mid to large-size enterprise environment required
  • 3-6 years of experience in application access security administration preferred
