Responsibilities

Empower AI: As a DoDIN-A Operations Endpoint Security Information Security Specialist, you will provide services in support of the Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) on the Army Department of Defense Information Network (DoDIN-A) Cybersecurity and Network Operations Mission Support (ADCNOMS) contract. You will be responsible for actions taken to secure, operate, and maintain DoDIN -A cyberspace to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the DoDIN-A. Endpoint security uses a variety of host and network tools to achieve a robust, flexible, endpoint protection capability that enables critical DoDIN Operations efforts across the Army network. Endpoint security provides a Common Operating Picture, demonstrating the cyber hygiene of all Army endpoints; risk, trends and threat analysis; and Key Performance Indicators (KPI). The DoDIN-A Endpoint Security mission requires 16 hours of coverage split into 2 shifts, 8 hours each, 0600-2200.

 

Highlights of Responsibilities:

  • Research, identify, analyze, and scan the network for Top 10 Trends, Top 20 Applications, Common Vulnerability and Exposures, and endpoint security compliance with all other DoD regulations and policies.
  • On a daily basis, research endpoint vulnerabilities, criticality, and response solutions.
  • On a daily basis, scan and query all DoDIN-A endpoints and analyze the endpoint security data against known endpoint vulnerabilities; and coordinate with internal and external Army organizations to clarify, remediate, and close all endpoint security vulnerabilities.
  • Update the NETCOM SPO site to reflect all updates for endpoint security reporting for the DoDIN-A.
  • Provide findings and recommendations of endpoint security vulnerabilities. Provide a summary, to include metrics if applicable, of all current and ongoing activities within two (2) hours of identification for critical vulnerabilities and within two (2) business days for non-critical vulnerabilities.
  • The Contractor shall identify applicable DoD, Army, and Federal Information Security Management Act requirements, including items such as, DoD IA controls, criticality, and threat. Upon identification of Regulatory requirements, the Contractor shall assist the Government in validating capability compliance.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Top Secret Security Clearance based on a Tier 5 (T5) Investigation with ICD 704 (SCI) eligibility
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7 – 12 years of experience
  • Intermediate engineering in applications and technologies comprising endpoint security and network tools.
  • Intermediate expertise on DoD and Army network and systems security and compliance

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF 631) Information Systems Security Developer Intermediate qualified (BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science or CSC or GCLD or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or GSEC) or equivalent certification
  • ITIL v4 Foundations certification

  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as required
  • Travel by land or air transportation 10% or less
