ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences is seeking a Senior Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to support the Tactical Software Integration – Rapid Engineering of Integrated Modernization (TSI REIM) team within the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Software Engineering Center (SEC). This position directly supports PM Mission Command (PM MC) and Tactical Mission Command (TMC) modernization initiatives under C5ISR Center/Cross-Functional Team guidance. You will be integral to implementing secure, automated development and deployment pipelines for next-generation command-and-control software.
Key Responsibilities
• Architect, deploy, and manage secure DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines supporting Army tactical applications.
• Administer and automate hybrid server environments (Linux/Unix and Windows Server) using Ansible and Bash scripting.
• Lead integration of containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestrated deployments in AWS (Fargate), Azure, and GCP environments.
• Implement security tooling, compliance checks, and automated patching as part of Continuous Authority to Operate (cATO) support.
• Develop and sustain infrastructure-as-code and container-as-a-service capabilities aligned with Army software factory and DevSecOps standards.
• Collaborate with Software Developers and System Admins to optimize code deployment across environments.
• Perform root cause analysis, system hardening, and performance tuning in mission-relevant environments.
• Support automated database provisioning and administration (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, SQL Server).
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant DevSecOps, Systems Engineering, or Cloud Integration experience.
• Bachelors Degree in a related field(4 years of additional experience may suffice in lieu of degree)
• Deep experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native toolchains (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in Bash scripting, automation frameworks (e.g., Ansible), and secure container lifecycle practices.
• Experience in DoD or Army tactical software environments strongly preferred.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance
