Description of Duties:

The System Integrator supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

 

·       Assist with daily satellite ground system checks using Infrastructure as Code (BASH, Ansible, Powershell)

·       Develop scripts to assist with improving system reliability and cyber compliance

·       Installation, configuration, licensing, and verification of various applications on Linux or Windows environments within the Missile Defense Space Center

·       Investigate and troubleshoot hardware and software issues, providing user support to resolve system issues

·       Work with system administrators and engineers to identify and define requirements for new systems/system modifications, developing designs, and implementing and testing solutions

·       Develop and implement training plan for new integrators

·       Work closely with test team to develop system test plans

Here's What You'll Need:

 

Basic Requirements:

·       Must have 2, or more, years of direct experience

·       Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

·       Must have experience working on ground systems for space operations

·       Must have 6 months, or more, of current/direct experience working on the Missile Defense Space Enterprise Architecture (MDSEA) team

·       Must have an understanding of programming languages (ex: Python, Java, Pearl, C++)

·       Must have knowledge of networking configurations in a mixed Linux and Windows environment

·       Must have a Linux+, RHCSA, or RHCE certification

·       Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT Level II or above (ex: Security+)

·       Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance

 

 

This position is expected to pay $105,000 - $120,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
