Job Highlights

 

The primary purpose of this position is to support the administrative requirements of the Health, Safety, Training, and Security areas. Administrative support provides coordination, communication, and general organization of reports, data, documentation, and supports employee questions regarding administrative HS&S duties. Repsonsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Recording and reporting safety metrics due on a weekly/monthly basis.
  • Create purchase requisitions in SAP, purchases in ARIBA, and prepare invoices for approval.
  • Review and process employee/contractor Personnel Background Check Packets. Process the approved proximity applications and provide to the Security Department. File/store and maintain the packets for future audits. 
  • Assist and coordinate various small projects, including safety banners, safety campaigns, safety training events, and Safety Week initiatives.
  • Oversee the uniform program, including verifying vendor invoices, managing inventory for active and separated employees, and coordinating with the uniform vendor to ensure accurate billing, timely garment repairs and returns, and proper door mat inventory management.
  • Other administrative duties and special projects as assigned. 

Requirements

 

  • High School Diploma and a min. of 2 years of professional administrative experience. Experience in a similar role in an industrial environment is preferred. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office with focus on Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Project coordination and support skills. 
  • Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills. 
  • Strong initiative and problem solving skills.
