Junior Pentester

My responsibilities:

Conduct Security Assessments:

• Perform in-depth Software Security Assessments for small and large-scale software releases.
• Evaluate software for vulnerabilities, risks, and compliance with security standards.

Develop Assessment criteria:

• Create and maintain assessment checklists and evaluation criteria based on industry security guidelines and best practices.

Collaborate with international Teams:

• Work closely with software release management teams to understand application.
• Provide consultancy on mitigation steps.

Report findings:

• Document assessment results, findings, and recommendations in detailed reports for software releases.
• Present findings to stakeholders and work with teams to remediate identified vulnerabilities.

Stay updated on Security trends:

• Keep up-to-date with the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and trends in software security.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security assessment processes and tools.

The knowledge I own:

• Knowledge of Multiple operating systems.
• Hands on, practical knowledge of penetration testing (techniques, tools...etc.)
• Solid knowledge of OWASP Top 10, Manipulated Requests, KALI Linux
• Strong communication skills for reporting processes and communicating with stakeholders, service owners
• Hands on knowledge with at least Bash
• Ability to work independently and prioritize your work
• Hands on experience with at least one of the ITSM tools
