Starting Salary Range: $23-26/hr

Job Purpose

Work with Coast Capital Savings’ Information Security department on risk assessment and security awareness initiatives.

Accountabilities

• Assist the team with performing security risk assessments.
• Assist in identifying, analyzing, and documenting information security risks.
• Draft security awareness content and materials.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders across departments to support security initiatives.
• Participate in team meetings, knowledge-sharing sessions, and training opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications

• Students enrolled in a Bachelor’s (3rd or 4th year) or Master’s program in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Students with previous co-op experience are preferred.
• Experience with GRC and SIEM solutions is an asset.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• A strong willingness to learn and apply risk management principles.
• Able to work independently, when needed.
