To support this growth, we are seeking a Business Development Manager for our IoT & Product Service Unit. In this innovative and business-driven role, you will be responsible for developing services and supporting their sales. A strong technical understanding of cloud-based software, sales experience, and the ability to work independently are essential.
You will join an international investment project team, providing you with a solid knowledge base and the support needed to achieve your goals. Together with our experts, you will help build innovative solutions and conquer new markets. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a compelling success story.
The first development project will focus on creating a scalable service centered on product security and compliance, which will later expand to other business units. Therefore, experience in building and scaling services is highly valuable. Additionally, familiarity with executing go-to-market strategies in a global organization will be a significant advantage.
Success in this role will also rely on your soft skills to navigate multiple stakeholders and your project management abilities to keep all efforts aligned. At times, you may also work as a consultant, so a hands-on approach is welcome. You will report directly to the Head of IoT & Product Security.
You will be based at the DNV´s office in Espoo Finland.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead and execute service development initiatives with a focus on innovation and impact
Take ownership of current and future service development projects, either as a lead or key contributor
Develop and implement a strategic service development roadmap
Collaborate with other service units to build a comprehensive and competitive service portfolio
Drive growth of the service unit through effective sales actions and cross-functional collaboration
Plan and execute go-to-market strategies in coordination with relevant stakeholders
Participate in the planning and execution of marketing activities
Train and support internal sales teams to effectively promote and sell our services
Work closely with service delivery teams to ensure alignment between sales and execution
Take on roles such as Project Manager, Service Owner, Advisor, or Consultant in other projects as need

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
Minimum 10 years of professional experience, preferably in business/service development, cybersecurity, sales, project management, consulting, and/or technical roles within a relevant industry
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse cultures and stakeholder groups
Proven ability to support client engagements, manage project delivery, guide colleagues, and coordinate various delivery aspects
Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills; fluent in Finnish and English
Experience working in fast-paced environments and managing multiple stakeholder relationships
Highly organized with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel as needed, primarily within Europe
Business-driven, energetic, and self-motivated with a positive and engaging attitude
A true team player who enjoys working with clients and colleagues alike, contributing to a collaborative and successful team culture
A strong technical understanding of cloud / SaaS solutions, sales experience and the ability to work independently are essential. C#, .NET and TypeScript knowledge are considered a plus.
