As a software factory DevOps Engineer on our team, you’ll pipeline our software development from requirements to testing in production. You’ll incorporate automation and cloud resources to minimize repetitive tasks and free up the team’s developers to do what they do best—innovate. You’ll work together with fellow professionals to implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting.

You Have:
5+ years of experience maintaining and deploying production-grade containerized applications with Kubernetes through DevOps practices
2+ years of experience with multi-cloud, including, AWS, Azure, Google, or Oracle
2+ years of experience with CI/CD and developer workflow automation, including Github Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodeStar or CodePipeline
2+ years of experience working with Docker and Helm
2+ years of experience with Cloud or Network Security architecture, including least privilege or IAM, secrets management, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), or Boundary Protection
2+ years of experience with IaC, including Terraform, AWS CDK, or AWS CloudFormation
2+ years of experience with Kubernetes Deployment and GitOps tooling, including Helm, Flux, or Argo CD
Experience troubleshooting platform application deployments and configurations within AF or DoD environments
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
Experience with concepts of Service Meshes such as Istio or AWS App Mesh
Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or Keycloak
Experience with AWS EC2, EKS, ECS, ECR, S3, SQS, SNS, RDS, DynamoDB, KMS, SSM, ELB, VPC, or Route53
Experience with hardened AMIs and Container Images such as DoD STIGs or CIS Benchmarks
Experience with APM, including Datadog, New Relic, or Splunk
Experience in Rancher services, including RKE2
Experience in Identity Authentication and Authorization, including Single-Sign-On, SAML, or OpenID
Experience in Active Directory and GPO configuration and management
AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Certification
AWS Certified Developer - Associate Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
