Job Purpose:
This role supports the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity systems, including but not limited to antivirus solutions, identity management tools, and log monitoring technologies. The selected candidate will be responsible for system configuration, patching, troubleshooting, documentation, and working directly with internal teams and vendors to ensure secure and efficient operations.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the deployment and upgrades of cybersecurity technologies such as CyberArk, Tenable, and similar tools.
- Support existing infrastructure and cybersecurity solutions like Trend Micro, RSA SecurID, and Splunk.
- Draft and maintain technical and procedural documentation to support both daily tasks and major operations.
- Design and recommend system architecture solutions based on business and security needs.
- Configure and install security systems and software.
- Train team members and end users on new technologies and procedures.
- Maintain and patch deployed technologies to ensure reliability and security.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal stakeholders during deployments and support efforts.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience working within a cybersecurity team or performing information security functions.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and technical communication.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in decision-making and problem-solving.
- Willingness and physical ability to lift and transport server equipment when necessary.
- Availability to provide off-hours and on-call support for cybersecurity systems.
- Willingness to work overtime and adjust work hours during emergencies or planned maintenance.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various company sites as required.
- Ability to pass the NERC CIP Personnel Risk Assessment background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Trend Micro Deep Security or other antivirus platforms.
- Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with RSA SecureID and Splunk.
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfort interacting with individuals across all organizational levels.
