In this role, you will:
- Define and lead the global IAM vision, strategy, and roadmap to align with GE Aerospace's digital risk posture and regulatory obligations.
- Collaborate with cross functional DT teams to drive Data Centric Security
- Direct the design and operation of enterprise-wide identity governance, authentication, authorization, and privileged access management capabilities.
- Partner with business and Digital Technology (DT) stakeholders to define access policies and models that balance security, compliance, and productivity.
- Lead modernization initiatives, including Zero Trust adoption, Attribute Based Access Control, Data Centric Security, lifecycle automation, and cloud-native IAM architecture.
- Oversee IAM operations and performance, including incident response, access reviews, audit support, and metrics-driven continuous improvement.
- Establish governance frameworks for access certifications, role-based access control, and identity lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, HR, and risk teams to support global regulatory compliance.
- Guide the selection and implementation of IAM technologies, driving vendor management, innovation, and cost optimization.
- Build and lead a high-performing global team of IAM engineers, analysts, and program managers.
- Provide IAM thought leadership to cross-functional cyber, infrastructure, and application teams to drive secure-by-design principles.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 12 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 15 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 17 years of professional experience
- Minimum 9 years of experience in cybersecurity with direct leadership in IAM.
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as a People Leader
- Proven experience managing enterprise-scale IAM programs, technologies, and transformation initiatives.
- Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
Desired Characteristics:
- Strong knowledge of identity governance, federation, SSO, MFA, PAM, and directory services (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD).
- Ability to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements into actionable identity controls.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and third-party partners.
- Strong analytical, risk assessment, and decision-making skills under ambiguity.
- Exceptional communication, influence, and stakeholder management across global, matrixed organizations.
- Agile mindset with a passion for driving process improvement and automation.
This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
