As a Computer Forensic Specialist supporting the Special Operations Command-Central (SOCCENT) Innovations Lab, you will play a critical role in the development of unique capabilities for Special Operations Forces (SOF).  SOCCENT is responsible for planning, preparing, and conducting special operations within the CENTCOM area of responsibility. 

Responsibilities:

As a Computer Forensic Specialist supporting the SOCCENT Innovation Lab, your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Development and incorporation of single board computers (e.g. Raspberry Pi), AI integration modules (e.g. Jetson Nano), cellular, satellite, and LoRa modems, and similar devices as a foundation for technical solutions for EM/RF surveying, remote access, CTR and surveillance, and sUAS integration requirements.

  • Conduct penetration testing, networking, C++, Python, Command Line Interface, Linux, and Android Operating systems.

  • Conduct ethical hacking operations when authorized

  • Conduct AI integration in existing/developing systems

  • Develop technical solutions in coordination with the SOCCENT Technical Operations Detachment (TOD).

  • Provide analysis of emerging and destructive technology and its military applications

  • Collaborate with senior government officials and executives to provide industry insights and shape innovative project direction

  • Serving as a subject matter expert to assist agencies in identifying and engaging stakeholders across federal, state, and local levels

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Current Secret with ability to obtain Top Secret Security clearance with SCI eligibility

  • Five (5) years’ experience in software development

  • Security certification (e.g. CompTIA, Security +, CISSP, Certified Ethical Hacker)

  • Familiar with penetration testing, networking, C++, Python, Command Line Interface, Linux, and Android Operating systems

  • Understanding of employment of python libraries such as MAVLink and OpenCV

  • Expert level understanding of single board computers (SBCs) (e.g. Raspberry Pi, Nvidia Jetson

  • Ability to implement integrated AI solutions, e.g. visual navigation, object recognition/tracking in SBC systems

  • Demonstrated knowledge of common long-range networking solutions (e.g. cellular, satellite, and LoRa modems) and ability to create robust and secure local and wide-area networks to be employed in austere and hostile environments

Desired:

  • Demonstrated experience directly supporting Special Operations Forces and/or Intelligence Community.  

This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately. However, this position is representative of positions within CACI that are consistently available. Individuals who apply may also be considered for other positions at CACI.

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$93,500 - $196,500
