As a cyber mission specialist, you understand the value of hunt-forward operations, and you know that battles are won in the grey. At Booz Allen, you can use your cyberspace operations experience to create solutions that will be executed on a worldwide stage. Weâre looking for a cyber mission specialist like you to apply your experience in various Cybersecurity areas, including Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework (RMF) guidance, Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E), system vulnerability, and compliance in support of Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).âŻIn this role, youâll be counted on to help understand cyberspace capabilities to evaluate potential weaknesses as well as the effectiveness of mitigations for cyber security solutions. You will work with your team to leverage cyberspace operations systems to aggregate threat feeds that inform briefings for senior leadership aligned to support the research of emerging technology, requisite security requirements, and emerging threats and develop a way forward to meet organizational goals. Youâll work with headquarters-level decision makers on the technical implementation of solutions for promoting the sustainment of cybersecurity across multiple technology areas.Â

This is an opportunity to use your research and analysis abilities to adequately assess and inform operators and senior leadership and commanders on dynamic adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures to support system A&A efforts through cyber risk assessment, policy analysis, technology evaluations, and National institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) security control validation. Apply expertise in technology to analyze system security implementations, application security, and provide recommendations to decision makers and engineers. Your role will be vital in the development of operations plans to support command and control.Â

You Have:âŻâŻÂ
Experience in a cybersecurity or computer field, including supporting information assurance, networking, or systems administration
Experience with applying system security configurations to meet compliance standards
Knowledge of Cybersecurity standards and the implementation of industry best practicesÂ
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Secret clearance
Bachelorâs degree
Ability to obtain Security+ CE Certification within 120 days of start date

Nice If You Have:âŻâŻÂ
3+ years of experience with RMF A&A processes and Cybersecurity engineeringÂ
Experience in working with the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)Â
Experience with Cloud and DevSecOpsÂ
Knowledge of STIG and compliance scans
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
Possession of excellent time management and analytical skillsÂ
TS/SCI clearance
DoD 8140 IAT or IAM Levels II or III Certification
Security+ CE Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individualâs particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allenâs total compensation package for employees.
