Cybersecurity Operations Analyst

The Opportunity:

To grow effectively, organizations need help looking at their operation from the outside. Whether standing up a new organization, transforming an existing one, or transitioning an organization, such as a merger or split-up, our clients need a professional who will take the time to learn the complexities of their mission and provide them with tangible advice on business process improvements, mission success, and standard methodologies. 

That’s why we need you, a management professional who can analyze every aspect of your customer’s operations and give them the roadmap to becoming the organization they envision. As a general management consultant on our team, you’ll develop an overall picture of your client’s current structure, day-to-day operations, and outcomes in a manner that they may not have thought of before. 

On our team, you’ll use discussions and workshops with stakeholders and engineers to identify the elements that work best in their environment and the areas for improvement. Once you have a thorough understanding of where and how the organization can improve, you’ll work on a path forward with senior decision-makers.

You Have: 

  • 2+ years of experience in professional services

  • Experience drafting technical writing at the organization-level, including drafting organization-level technical policies, guidance, and strategies

  • Experience supporting at the organization level, including Action Officer duties and staffing processes or tools

  • Experience in research and analysis of technical issues

  • Top Secret

  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

  • Experience facilitating meetings such as working groups or conferences and associated pre- and post-meeting activities

  • Experience in the cybersecurity or information assurance field

  • Experience analyzing the development of information assurance and cybersecurity practices, policies, and strategies

  • Knowledge of the cybersecurity program within DoD

  • Knowledge of NIST 800 series publications

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities

  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Possession of excellent organizational skills

  • CISSP or CISM Certification

Clearance:   

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
