To support the continued growth, regulatory resilience, and operational integrity of our platform, we are looking for a Compliance Officer with an IT focus. In this role, you will ensure that Coinmerce aligns with all regulatory requirements, particularly those concerning IT and cybersecurity, such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA). You will work cross-functionally to help embed compliance into our technical infrastructure and processes, playing a key role in protecting Coinmerce and its users.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with DORA and other relevant EU and national IT and cybersecurity regulations.

• Collaborate with IT, Security, and Risk teams to align internal systems, incident response, and vendor management with regulatory frameworks.

• Monitor operational resilience risks across IT systems and third-party providers.

• Maintain and improve policies and procedures related to digital resilience, business continuity, and data protection.

• Lead and support audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting related to IT and digital risk.

• Act as a liaison with regulatory bodies (e.g., DNB) on digital resilience and IT compliance topics. 
  
  
  What you bring

• 3–5 years of experience in compliance, risk, or IT governance, preferably in fintech, crypto, or regulated financial services.

• Solid understanding of EU regulations including DORA, AML/KYC, and IT risk management frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, NIS2).

• Experience working with IT, security, or infrastructure teams on governance and compliance matters.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to technical and regulatory detail.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational processes.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.

• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

• Proactive, structured, and self-driven mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience working with or reporting to financial regulators such as DNB.

• Familiarity with blockchain technologies, crypto infrastructure, or digital asset platforms.
