Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for an IT Systems & Security Architect to support the creation of a new cross-country platform aimed at managing key business processes. The role focuses on secure system and application design, cloud systems optimization, and infrastructure improvement. You will collaborate with development teams and other security architects to ensure a secure, scalable, and resilient architecture aligned with the organization's evolving needs.

This position is Hybrid Porto - 3x per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously improve architecture design across systems and applications
• Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation, including High-Level Solution Designs (HLSD) and Solution Architecture Documents (SAD)
• Identify deficiencies in applications and systems, and provide structured technical feedback to development teams
• Map the full IT/system landscape and identify architectural gaps or vulnerabilities
• Design tailored solutions that align with infrastructure and InfoSec developments (e.g., IaaS, cloud evolution)

Requirements for the role 

• Minimum 7 years of experience in system architecture design, including the development of scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions
• Hands-on experience in creating and maintaining technical documentation, such as HLSDs and SADs
• Experience in IT infrastructure assessment, with the ability to identify architectural gaps and optimisation opportunities
• Working experience with cloud systems (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) with proven experience in cloud performance optimisation and deployment models (IaaS, PaaS)
• Experience in security architecture, collaborating with InfoSec teams to ensure compliance with best practices and standards
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and cross-functional stakeholders in hybrid and agile environments
• Strong skills in designing and maintaining architecture maps of complex IT environments
• Solid understanding of enterprise IT systems, networking, and security principles
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal
