The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD) is a Department of Defense entity dedicated to research and development, test and evaluation, engineering, and fleet support for the Navy's ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles. We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst III to support the development, monitoring, and execution of the Cybersecurity Program for NSWCPD Code 104.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Conduct detailed analysis of logs and events to identify vulnerabilities and address cybersecurity threats.
- Utilize vulnerability management tools such as ACAS and Tenable to assess and manage security risks.
- Employ various data collection tools to collect, analyze, and report security-related data.
- Automate processes through scripting to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of cybersecurity operations.
- Assess the impacts of observed risks and present findings and recommendations to the chain of command.
- Support the implementation of cybersecurity policies and practices in alignment with the DoD Information Assessment and Authorization (A&A) process and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
- Provide Subject Matter Expertise in cybersecurity lifecycle management and ensure compliance with established standards.
- Coordinate the implementation and sustainment of cybersecurity measures across labs operating under RMF guidelines.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or an equivalent science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent professional certification as specified by the Cybersecurity Workforce Framework (CSWF) certification requirements.

**Minimum Experience:**
- A minimum of six (6) years of professional experience in analyzing logs and events, utilizing vulnerability management tools, and working with various data collection tools.
- Experience in automating processes through scripting and assessing the impacts from observed risks.
