ECS is seeking a Cyber Technology Portfolio Manager to work in our Las Vegas, NV office.  Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

 

ECS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cyber Technology Portfolio Manager to oversee the management and strategic direction of cybersecurity and IT projects for a National Security client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating functional requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT and cybersecurity goals, and managing the development and coordination of site design packages. This role requires leadership experience, a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, and a strong ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams. The Cyber Technology Portfolio Manager will play a key role in developing use cases, defining quality standards, and enhancing overall operational processes for cybersecurity solutions.

 

Responsibilities:
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions
• Review enterprise Cybersecurity and information technology (IT) goals and objectives
• Determine functional requirements and specifications for site design packages
• Oversee the development and management of site design packages
• Coordinate with configuration management process and manage site design packages
• Develop cybersecurity use cases
• Develop quality standards
• Document quality standards

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, portfolio management, operational planning processes and execution, and network design; ability to Identify opportunities for new and improved business process solutions.
• Leadership Experience: Experience in leading a team, managing projects, and providing technical guidance to junior team members is crucial.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, portfolio management, and network design packages; ability to create system security concept of operations (ConOps) documents and define baseline system security requirements; ability to perform requirements analysis and apply information technologies into proposed solutions
• Communication: Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences; attention to detail.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle security incidents and vulnerabilities; ability to build use cases.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with other IT teams, stakeholders, and external partners.

 

Education: 

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field; OR
• Master's degree in a relevant field can be beneficial and may enhance your qualifications.

 

All the following certifications are desired but at least one certification is required:
• CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional): Emphasizes technical and managerial knowledge and experience in designing, engineering, and managing an organization's overall security posture across a broad spectrum of cybersecurity domains.
• Certified Lead Cybersecurity Manager (CLCM): Focuses on the competencies needed to effectively implement, manage, and continually improve a cybersecurity program.
• ISO/IEC 27032 Lead Cybersecurity Manager: Provides guidance for improving cybersecurity based on international standards and best practices.
