Roles & Responsibilities:
- Performs all Software Development Life Cycle activities including code reviews, technical design reviews, and architecture assessments to ensure quality deliverables are produced on time and within budget.
- Assists in developing project plans for new development efforts and works closely with program managers to establish schedules, identify risks and propose risk mitigation strategies, and communicate status to management.
- Develops and maintains applications software according to documentation provided by customer or internal developers.
- Ensures compliance of developed solutions with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Understands the impact of work on overall project goals and objectives and strives to make decisions consistent with those goals.
- Maintains a thorough understanding of current market trends related to technologies used in their area(s) of expertise.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’ s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
Required Skills:
- Ability to create detailed system designs (including user interface) based on functional specifications.
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals, data structures, databases, networking protocols, operating systems, and distributed/cloud technology.
- Experience in DICOM Standards, Image Lifecycle Management, Vendor Neutral Archive Technologies.
- Experience in AWS Cloud Engineering Principles, DevSecOps and Cyber Security models.
- Experience leading medium to large scale software projects through the full software development lifecycle, while working collaboratively as part of a team.
- Able to clearly articulate technical concepts and influence both business and IT leaders.
- Collaborates effectively with multiple cross-functional teams, external partners, vendors, and customers.
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
