Overview

The Cyber Security Analyst will play a critical role in protecting SDI information systems from cyber threats.  This position involves assisting the IT Department in planning and leading cybersecurity initiatives, developing security protocols, and ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of company data.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity strategies and protocols
  • Lead and manage cybersecurity projects, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to enhance overall security posture
  • Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and policies
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on cybersecurity best practices
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability management
  • Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, mitigation, and reporting of security breaches
  • Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies

Qualifications

  • Technical knowledge of IT systems, networks, cybersecurity, hardware, cloud technologies, applications, etc.
  • Communication skills with the ability to collaborate with others
  • 4-year degree in computer science, cybersecurity, or related field
  • Proejct management expereience
  • Problem-solving skills
