Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the development and implementation of cybersecurity policies and procedures across IT and OT environments
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams (network, system administration) to design and implement secure architectures
- Support security assessments and risk analyses for IT systems, with gradual involvement in OT environments
- Assist in projects related to network segmentation, secure remote access, and firewall configurations across IT and OT layers
- Monitor security events and assist in incident response activities, working closely with IT and automation teams
- Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations and frameworks (e.g. NIS Directive, ISO 27001, IEC 62443)
- Help maintain documentation related to cybersecurity architecture, processes, and assets
- Participate in awareness initiatives and cybersecurity training for internal teams
- Proactively build knowledge in OT technologies (e.g. SCADA, PLCs, industrial protocols), with the support of internal experts from the automation team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT roles such as network administration, system administration, or cybersecurity
- Strong understanding of network protocols, firewall configuration, system hardening, and IT architecture
- Good knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001, IEC 62443, NIS Directive)
- Experience with security tools (SIEM, vulnerability scanners, EDR, etc.)
- Exposure to risk management, compliance, and implementation of security policies
- Interest and willingness to learn OT systems, such as SCADA, PLCs, and industrial protocols (training and support will be provided)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with both IT and engineering teams
- Project coordination or project management experience is a plus
- Familiarity with critical infrastructure environments is a plus
