Senior Security Engineer

Full-time professional position at Digital Management’s business office located in McLean, Virginia, with relocation to unanticipated project sites throughout the US expected. Travel is not required for this position.

 

Duties:

  • Perform daily checks on outstanding project tasks to keep the team on track to complete milestones accordingly.
  • Tactically navigate stalemate situations to manage competing interests and priorities among stakeholders.
  • Communicate assessment/audit risk findings and mitigations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify, monitor, and communicate to senior management task performance risks, issues, and problems, and develop and implement mitigations or request assistance needed.
  • Provide support in developing and maintaining security assessment practice documentation, i.e., policies, plans, processes, procedures, guidelines, standards, methodologies, report templates, and questionnaire templates.
  • Perform assessments and conduct regular penetration testing and patching.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other teams to establish security protocols across the project.
  • Perform patching vulnerabilities from system scans.
  • Validate technical and procedural security controls.
  • Prepare reports on security incidents and changing responses.

Qualifications

Education/Experience Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related Data Engineer position. Foreign equivalent degrees are acceptable

 

Special Requirements: 3 years of verifiable experience performing data engineering duties employing the following technical tools: R Studio, Python, Kafka, Apache Nifi, Splunk, Tableau, Tibco WebFocus, Qlik Sense, Azure Databricks, Delta Lake, Amazon Redshift, Google TensorFlow.
