The Role
Are you passionate about cybersecurity and looking for an exciting role where you can make a difference? If so, we have an opportunity for you! As a SIEM Engineer at Kyndryl, you will play a crucial role in enabling and securing our customer organizations, cultures, and ecosystems.
Key responsabilities
Develop and manage:
Asset classification models
Risk assessment reports
Information security policies
Security solution scenarios
Implementation plans
Organizational models
Procedures and security services
Security effectiveness evaluation reports
Security awareness workshops
Configure, monitor, and manage network performance to maintain service quality.
Protect organizational infrastructure from malicious cyber-attacks.
Assess, predict, prevent, and manage IT infrastructure and data risks.
Develop and implement security policies and procedures in collaboration with other departments.
Explore cybersecurity innovation through data science:
Analyze data across single and multiple clients
Identify patterns and insights
Generate new ideas in risk management and quantification
Deliver technical security training and raise awareness of potential threats and best practices.
Desired Profile
Design, implement, and maintain the SIEM platform (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Stellar Cyber, Splunk, QRadar, Elastic, ArcSight).
Create and optimize correlation rules, use cases, and security alerts.
Integrate log sources (operating systems, firewalls, EDR, critical applications).
Tune and reduce false positives to improve monitoring efficiency.
Support SOC analysts in event investigations and SIEM usage.
Participate in continuous improvement projects, automation, and orchestrated response (SOAR, if applicable).
Maintain compliance with security standards (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
Passionate about cybersecurity, particularly in governance, risk, and compliance.
Interested in working in a challenging and dynamic environment.

Who You Are

Required Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience operating and integrating SIEM platforms.
Deep knowledge of log parsing, event normalization, and search languages (e.g., SPL, AQL).
Experience with protocols such as Syslog, NetFlow, SNMP, and integration tools (APIs, scripts).
Preferred certifications: Splunk Certified, QRadar Admin, Elastic Certified Analyst, etc.
Intermediate to advanced English (evaluated during the interview process).
