You will partner closely with cloud architects and our managed service provider (MSP) to operationalize, scale, and navigate the unique opportunities and complexities inherent in hybrid multi-cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Vision & Strategy
- Define and implement a unified strategy for Zero Trust (Zscaler), firewall operations, third-party connectivity, and comprehensive cloud security, ensuring streamlined and secure infrastructure operations globally, including complex regions such as China.
- Drive strategy and execution for securing hybrid multi-cloud environments, ensuring robust architecture, identity management, data protection, and compliance across AWS and Azure.
- Operational Excellence & 24/7 Readiness
- Establish and mature world-class processes and operational standards to deliver seamless, resilient, 24/7 security operations in collaboration with our MSP.
- Mature and operationalize our MSP partnership, setting clear service-level expectations, performance metrics, and governance models.
- Collaborate closely with Cloud Architects, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure integrated, consistent, and effective security practices across diverse cloud and on-premises environments.
- High-Performing Team & MSP Partnership
- Develop and mentor a high-performing team (currently 7 employees across Zscaler, Firewall, Third-party Connectivity, and Cloud Security) capable of scaling with our organizational ambitions.
- Optimize strategic partnerships with MSPs, driving accountability and ensuring cohesive, integrated service delivery at scale.
- Provide strategic advisory to executive stakeholders, effectively communicating security risks, opportunities, and progress.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally across diverse business units—while constructively challenging peers, leadership, and self—to push boundaries and deliver transformative outcomes.
- Demonstrated senior-level leadership in Infrastructure Security, Zero Trust implementation, cloud security (AWS/Azure), and network security within highly regulated environments (Aerospace, defense, federal sectors preferred).
- Exceptional strategic capabilities with a proven ability to translate complex visions into practical execution plans, managing ambiguity and delivering impactful outcomes.
- Deep technical expertise in Zero Trust networking frameworks, firewall and network security management, cloud-native security architectures, and third-party access management.
- Experience building and scaling high-performing global teams and driving process excellence through managed service partnerships.
- Demonstrated success implementing Zero Trust architectures, especially leveraging Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA, Branch Connector).
- Strong leadership presence, with excellent executive-level communication and relationship-building skills.
- 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity leadership experience, specifically in infrastructure security, cloud security, networking, or related fields.
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR associate’s degree with minimum of 11 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 15 years of professional experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Zero Trust Network Architecture
- 10+ years of progressive cybersecurity leadership experience, specifically in infrastructure security, cloud security, networking, or related fields.
Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
