General Function:

  • Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint architecture for Microsoft 365 Enterprise SharePoint and on-premises systems.
  • Provide expert advisement on best practices for developing and deploying SharePoint solutions.
  • Support the design, configuration, management, and maintenance of site collections, site hierarchies, and navigation structures.
  • Automate workflows, SharePoint Lists, Outlook Group Distribution Lists, and Teams channels.
  • Manage and maintain content, structure settings, and enterprise taxonomy, including terms and keywords for the term store.
  • Ensure governance compliance by identifying and reporting violations using Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Information Rights Management (IRM).
  • Allocate additional storage quotas and manage system upgrades, including testing and rollback procedures.
  • Support the development and maintenance of Microsoft applications integrated with SharePoint.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and manage tickets and service requests while meeting SLAs.
  • Develop and implement custom solutions within SharePoint, including web parts, workflows, and custom applications.
  • Integrate SharePoint with other systems and applications across the enterprise.
  • Optimize SharePoint performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks and architectural inefficiencies.
  • Establish and enforce governance policies to ensure security, proper usage, and scalability.
  • Document code, configurations, and processes for future reference and maintenance.
  • Guide and support development teams, administrators, and end-users on SharePoint best practices.
  • Attend virtual meetings with the customer.
  • Work in approved DoD environments.

Qualifications:

Education/Certifications/Experience/Skills:

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical degree from an accredited college or university.
  • 10+ years’ experience with delivery and engineering management and ownership for Microsoft Office 365 based collaboration services to support Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and ancillary products including Power Platform..
  • IAT-III Certification: CASP+CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP.
  • Must possess and maintain government security clearance at the Secret Level.
  • Proven experience designing, configuring, administering, and maintaining large-scale Microsoft 365 Enterprise SharePoint and on-premises environments.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise taxonomy, metadata, and governance best practices.
  • Experience automating workflows and integrating SharePoint with Microsoft Power Apps and Teams.
  • Solid understanding of DLP, IRM, and other security controls within SharePoint environments.
  • Proficiency in developing custom solutions, web parts, workflows, and SharePoint applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage storage quotas, system upgrades, and troubleshooting within complex SharePoint environments.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and support end-users effectively.
  • Ability to produce clear documentation and maintain accurate records of configurations and changes.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills are essential.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Preferred:

  • Prior experience supporting SharePoint solutions within Department of Defense or Navy environments.
  • Familiarity with integrating SharePoint with ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft OneDrive for Business sync support and recovery.
  • Experience with eDiscovery Centers, compliance, and governance reporting.
  • Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint, M365, or Power Platform.
  • Experience training and guiding users and administrators on SharePoint functionality and best practices.
  • Familiarity with optimizing performance, scalability, and security in large-scale government or enterprise SharePoint deployments.
